Our Very First Visit to Sibelius Park!
We spent so much time in this beautiful park, during our first few weeks in Hämeenlinna and at every time we were missing our country or parents and sister and brother, we came here to call them. The park is dedicated to Jean Sibelius , Finland’s most famous composer, and it is a peaceful spot surrounded by nature and music-inspired sculptures. One of the most special features of this park is its musical benches 🎶. When someone comes close, hidden speakers play Sibelius’s music, creating a magical experience as if the park itself is alive with his melodies. It’s a lovely place to walk, relax, and enjoy Finnish culture while remembering the life and works of Sibelius. My son enjoyed exploring the park, and we felt lucky to have such a cultural landmark so near our home.
